Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how RajISG LLC (“RajISG”, “we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use the i-delegate application at idelegate.rajisg.com. It supplements the group RajISG Privacy Policy where both apply.
1. What i-delegate is
i-delegate is the delegate and member portal for RajISG summits and trusted-infrastructure programmes. It is not a public social network or open directory. Member-only features may require organiser approval.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, profile photo, organisation, bio, user type, and related profile fields.
- Authentication: sign-in via Google and/or email and password (Firebase Authentication).
- Consent records: acceptance of this Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and your registration-intent confirmation (with timestamp and policy version).
- Security data: IP address, device/browser type, timestamps, and access logs for fraud prevention and legal compliance.
- Delegate & programme data: QR/profile links, summit RSVP, passes, and programme-related records (e.g. in Firestore).
- Communications: messages you send to support or legal contact addresses.
3. Why we use your data
- To create and manage your i-delegate account and profile.
- To issue delegate passes, QR business cards, and programme updates you are approved to receive.
- To operate summit registration, organiser notifications, and approved attendee networking.
- To keep the platform secure and comply with law.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Who we share data with
- Service providers (e.g. Google Cloud, Firebase, email) under contracts that require appropriate safeguards.
- Authentication providers (e.g. Google) when you choose social sign-in — they act under their own policies for that sign-in.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect users and the integrity of the service.
Some processing may occur outside India (e.g. United States). We use measures consistent with applicable data-protection law.
5. Retention
- Account data: until you request deletion, plus a short period for backup purge.
- Security logs: typically 90–180 days unless needed longer for incidents or legal hold.
- Programme records: for the life of the relevant summit/programme relationship and any stated retention period.
6. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and applicable law, you may request access, correction, or erasure of your data, or raise a grievance. Contact [email protected] with subject line DPDP Rights Request — i-delegate, or use RajISG Data Deletion and Grievances pages.
7. Children
i-delegate is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children’s data without required consent.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure — use a strong password and report suspected issues promptly.
9. Changes
We may update this page. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after notice may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
